Plenary Session: Jose Muñoz: Community Schools & the Return on Investing in Equity (10:00 – 11:00 a.m.)

 

Jose Muñoz is Director, Coalition for Community Schools & Vice President, Equity and Impact, Institute for Educational Leadership (Washington, DC)  He will be discussing community schools as vehicles for equity; the Coalition's new national campaign in support of "25,000 Community Schools by 2025"; and a newly-released study that shows that a $1 investment in supporting community schools site coordinators generates over $7 in future benefits.
